Frequently Asked Questions

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a server or the cloud. Your game progress, statistics, and settings never leave your phone.

How do I play?

Tap a cell to select it, then tap a number to place it. Fill every row, column, and 3x3 box with the numbers 1-9 without repeating. Use notes mode to track possible values, and hints when you get stuck.

What difficulty levels are available?

NumVault offers four difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. Each level removes more starting numbers, increasing the challenge.

Can I transfer my data to a new phone?

Your data transfers automatically when you restore from a device backup (Google backup or iCloud backup). We do not currently support manual data export.
